Mike founded Doorganics in July 2011, when he was motivated to create a healthy, local food source option that would fit his busy lifestyle. The Grand Rapids company launched with a website, a borrowed delivery van, and one local farm partner. Since then, he's grown the startup into a thriving local business – and he's grown his family as well, marrying wife Emily in 2013 and welcoming daughters Jane & Josie into the world. With a degree from Michigan State University and professional experience running a family business, Mike loves working with a vibrant local team who's passionate about delighting customers with delicious food that's fresh from the farm. For Mike's musings on personal wellness, the challenges of running a company, and behind-the-scenes happenings at Doorganics, check out our BLOG.
Dan came on board in December of 2012 with a friendly, personable smile and the kind of customer service that shows he cares. He's a sports radio junkie who uses all that driving time to catch up on the latest happenings. Dan's incredible memory lets him keep track of sports stats, as well as (ahem) those special customers who owe him a green bin -- all in good fun, of course.
Matt joined Doorganics as a driver in February of 2015, but he quickly showed that he has a mind for marketing and business development. Now he splits his time on the team and lends a hand wherever he's needed, whether it's packing bins or delving into Internet marketing strategies. When he's not at work, Matt enjoys playing basketball with his buddies.
Since coming on board in March 2014, Caitlin has done it all, from packing to inventory control to driving delivery vans. She's a true team player. These days, she's using her degree in photography from Kendall College -- Caitlin is the talent behind our delicious food pics! When she's not at Doorganics, Caitlin enjoys spending time up north with family.
